Our name M Harriot Inc was selected in 2015 in loving memory of our CEO, Kimmon L. Morris, mom whom inspired her interest in accounting at an early age as her mom, Marjorie Harriot, was an accountant in Jamaica, W.I. After Kimmon’s time with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for low-income taxpayers at York College which started in 2008; her love for assisting and educating taxpayers emerged.

This in turn led her to become an Adult & Continuing Education Income Tax Lecturer at York College from 2009 to 2016. In 2015, she partnered with some of her tax clients; to aide with the growth of their small businesses.

Hence launching M Harriot Inc for bookkeeping and payroll.
